Heavy rain is due to make an appearance for the Bank Holiday weekend.
Most of the country is due to be hit with heavy downpours over Saturday and Sunday with spot flooding also a risk in some areas.
Forecaster with Met Éireann Siobhan Ryan says rain will move in this afternoon:
"It should start off dry, warm, humid, but rain will very, very gradually move up across much of the country before evening time
"And really once it arrives tomorrow night and early Sunday, we'll see some very heavy pulses of rain, around one to two inches likely across parts of Munster, Connacht and indeed Leinster as well - some risk of spot flooding along with that as well."
The outlook is good for Monday however, with the possibility of some sunshine returning.
