The North's deputy first minister Martin McGuinness says Republicans and Unionists have begun a process of national reconciliation.
Opening his party's Ard Fheis in Kerry Mr McGuinness said that Sinn Fein officials have opened dialogue with unionists and protestant clergy.
He said that Sinn Fein wanted to build a United Ireland in which unionists felt comfortable.
He told the Ard Fheis that reconciliation talks with unionists have begun
